TUIfly Nordic extends partnership around the Scratch Card concept Scratchorama

Increased customer satisfaction and money raised for charity “We are excited that TUIfly Nordic has chosen to extend the partnership with us for an additional sales period. This means that TUIfly Nordic’s customers can during 2010 continue to enjoy onboard scratch card entertainment combined with friendly and exciting post travel online entertainment on Paf.com
A totally new online ancillary revenue stream “The last year has proved that Paf´s scratch card concept Scratchorama definitely is something special. We have managed to sell more scratch cards than ever before, even during the last year’s recession with lower passenger numbers. In addition to that, the concept has also provided us with a totally new online ancillary revenue stream, not accessible for us before", says Jim Hofverberg, Communications Manager, TUIfly Nordic.
A concept for airlines focusing on CSR and ancillary revenue
The Scratchorama concept is unique since it closes the gap between airline companies and customers, boosted by a close association with charity and customer entertainment. The concept creates a strong ancillary revenue stream directly onboard, but also post travel online via Paf.com.
“The extension creates a good foundation for further concept development and taking onboard new airline partners looking for an ancillary revenue boost, enhanced customer entertainment and an increased focus on Corporate Social Responsibility", Anders Wiklund continues.
Donation of 275 000 SEK to charity
The Scratchorama concept is built around raising money for good causes, this since Paf is a charitable gaming operator with the same mission. Last year TUIfly Nordic and Paf donated a total of 275 000 SEK to the Nordic Charity Organizations: BRIS (Sweden) Röde Kors (Norway), ASF-Danske Folkehjaelp (Denmark) and Pelastakaa Lapset Ryen (Finland), money which was raised through the concept.
“We hope that the activities during 2010 will further increase the amount of money we are able to donated to charity, where Paf together with TUIfly Nordic guarantee to donate at least 250.000 SEK from the concept” Anders Wiklund ends.
